The second in Connealy's Brides of Hope Mountain series, following Aiming for Love (2019), is Ilsa and Mitch's story. The Nordegren sisters--Josephine, Ilsa, and Ursula--have lived on Hope Mountain in Colorado their whole lives and were raised by their grandparents to be afraid of the larger world. When the Warden family came to the mountain, Ilsa and her sisters helped them. But now, someone has tracked Mitch Warden from New York City, where he made his fortune, all the way back to Hope Mountain. Rather than endangering his family, Mitch decides to return east to face the men trying to kill him, but before that can happen, Mitch and Ilsa are caught in a compromising situation and soon find themselves married. Heading east together, Mitch and Ilsa set out on an incredible journey to track down the threat against Mitch. Connealy infuses this story with faith, humor, and plenty of adventure. Readers who enjoy inspirational fiction with suspense and a western bent will find much to enjoy in this series.
